Delegaciones de 17 países crearon la semana pasada en Colombia un plan que contribuirá a la definición de una guía de apoyo militar a las autoridades civiles, informaron ayer fuentes castrenses. Con el programa buscan contribuir en la lucha contra el narcotráfico, las migraciones, la atención a desastres naturales y las estrategias de control fronterizo, manifestó el Ejército colombiano. Así se acordó durante la “Conferencia especializada en apoyo militar a autoridades civiles a partir de las capacidades de un ejército multimisión”, realizada en Bogotá entre el 18 y 23 de junio. Al evento asistieron, entre otros, militares de Chile, EEUU, Canadá, República Dominicana, México, Brasil, Honduras y Colombia.
